Please call early in the morning to make arrangements for students leaving early.  Students must pick up their slip during a passing period to avoid classroom interruptions throughout the day! /  When students are late to school, a parent/guardian must call prior to lunch to verify the reason for arriving late.

SJHHS AP Students and Parents!!

Important information regarding AP tests next week!

AP Exams starting Monday: May 2, 2016 - May 13, 2016

(Each exam is given only once, at the date and time established per College Board regulations)

  • Morning Exam Check in Time:           7:30 am *No student will be allowed late entry.
  • Afternoon Exam Check in Time:     11:30 am  *No student will be allowed late entry.
  • All AP test takers need to be reminded of the following:
  • Re-read the 2016 Bulletin for AP Students and Parents available at
  • If you will be leaving early or arriving late due to AP Exams, please complete an Attendance Release Form and turn it in to attendance office prior to test day. You can find the form in the attendance office and/or available for download at
  • Obtain a SJHHS School ID PRIOR to test day


  • Your Calculator, with fresh batteries
  • A ruler or straightedge (only allowed if you’re taking an AP Physics Exam.)
  • Blue or Black Ballpoint pens for free response questions
  • At least three No. 2 pencils and make sure your pencil erasers work
  • A snack/drink in a CLEAR plastic bag with your name on it to eat during one of the breaks. It will be stowed outside the exam area.
  • Make all arrangements for pick up ahead of time.


* These are the ONLY items that students testing should bring with them to exam room.


  • No watches that BEEP
  • No Backpacks, Bags, Purses


*Leave these items in your locker, home, or in your car!  If you are caught with a prohibited device your scores can  be cancelled  and the scores of the whole testing session can be jeopardized. Allow enough time to stow your  belongings in your locker  BEFORE you go to the exam room.

*Please note that students who bring any of the above items or forget to bring their ID card to the exam room will  NOT be allowed  to check in.
