Need Counseling?

Our school counselors, Mrs.Galasso and Ms. Sutton are available 5 days a week to assist students/parents/families with any social/emotional issues if they are impeding academic achievement.  Counseling can take place for issues ranging from poor motivation and low self-esteem to grief, divorce, and eating disorders.  Discussion between counselors and students remain confidential.  If you feel your son/daughter needs to talk to someone, please contact us.

Stallions for Success

This mandatory intervention is put in place for 9th grade students who are receiving 2 or more F's at the 6 week grading period.  Students will be required to attend this workshop during their 'student choice' tutorial period, once per week for 8 weeks.  Topics to be dicussed are time management, navigating School Loop, self-esteem, behavior, study skills, etc.

CUSD Family Resource Center

The CUSD Family Resource Center offers families access to classes ranging from anger management to parenting classes; and classes for children ranging from conflict resolution to improving one's self esteem.  The center can also assist families in application to government assistance programs such as medical and financial assistance.

The CUSD Family Resource Center is located at Las Palmas Elementary School in portable 38.  The address is 1101 Calle Puente, San Clemente, CA 92672; (949) 234-5597
